Dear Saxifraga lovers

Welcome to our 2025 Spring Sales list.  2023 and 2024were very busy for us, and this is reflected in the stock we can offer you this autumn/winter. As you know we are just a small hobby nursery and grow our Saxifraga’s in small numbers. And it takes 3 years from cuttings until salable plant, so we hope you can understand that the stock list mainly contains small plants.

We would like to bring our Discount Collections extra to your attention!  A good way for everyone to order Saxifraga’s at a discount, because we pay a part of your Packaging and Shipping costs.  The only rule is that we choose the plants we send you. More information you can find on the website and at the end of this stocklist by the collections with discount.

 

The way we grow

 We grow a 1000+ collection of different Saxifraga’s but can not propagate them all. Every year we propagate a changing  selection including easy, difficult, special, rare, popular or unknown cultivars and botanical Saxifraga’s.  We  grow our plants in an ‘Old fashioned’ way, in a lean and poor soil without fertilizers.  We will never change this to grow the Saxifraga’s faster. All plants are grown outside, not in a green- or alpine house. So our Saxifraga’s still have time to grow into compact, healthy and strong plants. From cuttings to salable plant in measure M or L, it takes mostly Three years. That’s why it can take 2-3 years for a plant which is sold out is back in stock.
